About building things... And blogs.
A couple of days ago, I got the server when my old site was running back online, and I actually got all of the VM's running again.
I just decided that this is now my new home (a lot like an hermit crab). XD. And I think I know why.
As I always say, I like to think in myself as someone who likes to build things. In this particular case, it's a virtual thing. But a thing, nonetheless. That means that we can get attached to this virtual files that are much more than just 1's and 0's for us builders. We can see some degree of beauty in the systems we build, and there's definitely more than just a couple of hours poured into creating platforms for us to use. We can feel joy and pride on seeing things actually working for the first time, on checking that log finally without errors. Or on the first post.
I always find fascinating the Idea of starting a blog. The bad part of doing this the way I do it, is that I'm sometimes more attached to the infrastructure that runs the blog that on the blog itself, and I can see that that's not how it's supposed to work. So there's me doing a vow to commit to this thing. I will keep you safe, my blog. From now on, you will be my companion, and I will take care of you.
I'll run the proper backup tasks daily, so you don't have to worry about going into oblivion and being replaced by just another empty soul-less blog.
From now on, is you and me, oh little blog.
